Erika Kirsten Beck is the owner and founder of Ryder Media Consultants. She is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the widely respected, public relations company, maintaining a hands-on approach with clients and members of the media.
Erika has more than 10 years of communications and PR experience, including the development of corporate branding campaigns, executive media training, media and analyst relations, successful company and product launches, speaker bureau programs, and social networking strategy. She leverages her media relationships to secure top-tier placement on behalf of Ryder’s clients.
Considered a PR 2.0 specialist, Erika brings a new arsenal of tools to reach constituents and consumers alike through viral media platforms such as online social networking (profiles, blogs and Twitter) and the identification of online media placement opportunities and efficiencies. Erika's comprehensive analysis and industry insight into the current blogosphere enhances Ryder's clients direct response and relationship marketing campaign as it relates to the internet.
As a seasoned communicator she has designed and delivered communications programs that proactively address the needs of Ryder’s clients at every stage of development.
Before starting Ryder Media Consultants, Erika spent several years as a public relations and communications generalist; working both in-house and agency-side with budgets ranging from 50K-10M annually.
